STRESSED, Tri-Shutter Cut Card

This card is being sent to my sister along with her favorite chocolates (what better stress relieving kit!!).

I am usually intimidated by cards that fold different and have so many cuts, but I looked at several YouTube video tutorials and managed to complete this card!

Here is the front of the card.  I just love this cat image!
And here it is all opened up....

I've decided to enter this card into the following blog challenges:

Simple Cards

Today I am sharing some simple cards I made during a Super Bowl Crop.  I hadn't used my embossing folders for a long while and thought it would be nice to make the embossed design a highlight for the base of the card.

First up is this birthday card to be given to someone who is older and has a good sense of humor about their age!
As you can see, the front says "Hill?  What hill?  I don't see any hill!"  Then inside "Just remember once you're over the hill you pick up speed!  Happy Birthday!".

Next is a card to send to that special someone who is feeling a bit stressed out.  The front says "Remember....", then inside "stressed is just desserts spelled backwards.".

The third card is just a simple notecard with the inside left blank for you to add your own message.  I just love this owl image and the circle embossing behind it matched so nicely to accentuate the owl's eyes.

Last is another simple "Thinking of You" card with a blank inside.  The flowers in the image are highlighted with a few shades of pink, which matches the pink dots in the ribbon.
Sometimes simple is a good way to go, especially when participating in a crop!
TFL, have a great and crafty day!
